Terms of Service

The short version: be over 18, keep one account, test for real and write what you honestly think. You are paid the same for any rating, every review is labelled as compensated and published only on VouchHive, and companies can reply but never edit or delete a review. The full terms are below.

1About these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (registration number [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]), which operates VouchHive ("VouchHive", "we", "us"). They apply to the website, the web app, our mobile apps and every related service (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Review guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

VouchHive has two kinds of accounts: testers, who test products and write honest reviews, and companies, who request tests and reviews of their products through the business portal. Sections 3 to 6 and 9 are mainly about testers, section 12 is about companies, and everything else applies to everyone.

2Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract where you live.
  • One account per person. Duplicate, shared, bought, sold or automated accounts are not allowed. A company account must be opened by a person who is authorised to act for that company.
  • The information you give us must be true and kept up to date, including your name, email and country.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at once at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • You may not use the Service where doing so is illegal, or if you are subject to sanctions that prohibit you from receiving payments from us.

3Testers are independent participants

Testers take part as independent participants. Nothing in these Terms makes you an employee, worker, agent or partner of VouchHive or of any company whose product you test. You decide whether to request a spot on a test, when you work on it and how you write your review. You are not entitled to employment benefits, and you are responsible for any registrations or declarations that apply to your own activity.

There is no minimum amount of work and no guarantee that tests will be available to you. Spots are limited and are allocated by the Hive Team.

4How tests and pay work

  • Each test (a "drop") shows a fixed pay amount in USDT before you request a spot. That amount is what you earn for an approved review.
  • Pay never depends on the rating. A 1 star review and a 5 star review earn exactly the same amount, as long as the review is approved under the Review guidelines.
  • A review is approved when it shows real testing, is detailed enough, is your own original text and follows these Terms. If a review is rejected we tell you why. Rejected reviews are not paid.
  • Approved pay is credited to your VouchHive balance. Your balance is a record of what we owe you, not a bank account or e-money, and it does not earn interest.
  • We may correct a balance that was credited by mistake or through fraud.

5Review honesty rules

Honest reviews are the whole point of VouchHive. When you write a review you confirm that:

  • you really tested the product yourself, using the access we gave you;
  • the review is your own genuine opinion, written by you, and not copied, generated in bulk or written by someone else;
  • screenshots and other evidence come from your own test and have not been edited to mislead;
  • you have no undisclosed relationship with the company (for example you work for it, a competitor or one of their agencies) and you have not received anything from the company for your review.

No coordination of ratings

You must never ask, tell, pay or pressure anyone to give a particular rating, and you must never accept such a request. This applies to other testers, to companies and to anyone else. Groups or chats that coordinate ratings are not allowed. Companies may not contact testers to influence a review.

6Compensated label and where reviews appear

Every tester review is published on VouchHive only, with the label "Verified tester, compensated", your first name and last initial, the rating and the date. Readers can always see that the tester was paid for testing.

Testers must not post their paid VouchHive review, or any review of a product tested through VouchHive, on Trustpilot, Google, app stores or any other third-party platform. VouchHive never posts tester reviews on third-party sites.

7Companies cannot edit or delete reviews

Once a review is approved and published, the company that requested the test cannot edit, hide, reorder or delete it. A company can post one public reply under each review. VouchHive may remove a review only if it breaks these Terms, the Review guidelines or the law (for example personal data, threats or confidential information), never because a company dislikes the rating.

8Test logins and confidentiality

To test a product you may receive login details, test accounts or pre-release access. You agree to:

  • use them only to complete the test you were assigned, and only during the test period;
  • never share, publish, sell or reuse them, and never try to access anything beyond what the test needs;
  • keep confidential any non-public information you see during a test, except what you write in your review about your own experience;
  • never test for security weaknesses, scrape data or run automated tools against a product unless the drop explicitly asks for it.

Companies upload test logins at their own risk and should provide dedicated test accounts, never real customer accounts. We store test logins encrypted and show them only to the assigned tester.

9Tester membership

  • Tester accounts include a membership. Your first month is free. After that the membership costs $10 per month (or the amount shown at sign up and in your wallet before each renewal), taken from your VouchHive balance. We never charge a card.
  • We send a reminder 3 days before your free month ends and before each renewal. A price change only applies from your next renewal.
  • If your balance is lower than the fee at renewal, the fee is taken from your next approved earnings instead. Until then you can keep requesting spots and testing, and that amount stays reserved in your balance (you can withdraw anything above it). A fee never takes your balance below zero.
  • You can cancel anytime from your wallet. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you already have and no further fees are taken. After that you can still log in, see your wallet and withdraw your balance, but you can't request new spots until you resume.
  • Membership fees are not refundable, except where the law requires it or the Hive Team decides to waive a month. Companies and admins never pay a membership.

10USDT payouts

  • Payouts are made in USDT (Tether) on the network you choose from those we support (currently TRC20, Polygon and Solana).
  • The minimum withdrawal is $10. Withdrawals are reviewed and sent in batches, usually within a few business days, but we do not guarantee a specific time.
  • Network fees. Blockchain network fees may be deducted from the amount sent, or charged in another way that we show before you confirm a withdrawal.
  • Wrong address risk. You are responsible for entering a correct wallet address on the correct network. Crypto transactions cannot be reversed. If you give a wrong address or network, the funds may be lost and we cannot recover or resend them.
  • We may hold or refuse a withdrawal while we check for fraud, a breach of these Terms or a legal requirement, and we may ask you to verify your identity.
  • Taxes. You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes on what you earn. We do not withhold taxes unless the law requires us to, and we may share payment records with authorities where legally required.
  • The value of USDT against your local currency may change. VouchHive is not a bank, exchange or wallet provider and does not give financial advice.

11Anti-fraud, suspension and termination

To protect honest testers and companies we use fraud checks, including IP address and device information (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account, withhold unpaid balances linked to the abuse and reject pending reviews if we reasonably believe that the account:

  • is a duplicate, shared or fake account, or uses tools to hide its identity in order to get extra spots;
  • submitted reviews without real testing, copied or mass-produced text, or misleading screenshots;
  • coordinated or sold ratings, or took payment from a company for a review;
  • misused test logins or confidential information;
  • broke the law or these Terms in another serious way.

Where we can, we tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond. Legitimately earned balances that are not linked to abuse remain payable. You can close your account at any time from your profile (Delete account).

12Community and acceptable use

Only the Hive Team posts in the community feed. Members may react and reply. Replies must be respectful and lawful: no spam, links to outside services, harassment, hate, sharing personal data of others or promotion of other paid review schemes. You must not attack, overload, reverse engineer or scrape the Service or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.

13Terms for companies

Requests and quotes

Companies send review requests from the business portal. We reply with a quote setting out the number of testers, scope, timing and price. A request becomes a binding order only when you accept the quote. We may decline a request, for example for products that are illegal, unsafe, adult, gambling or financial products we do not support, or that we cannot test honestly.

Payment

You pay the quoted price in the way and by the date stated in the quote. Prices exclude any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Work starts once payment is received unless we agree otherwise in writing. Fees are not refundable once testers have started, except where the quote says so or the law requires it.

No guarantee of ratings

You pay for independent testing and honest feedback, not for positive reviews. We do not guarantee any rating, score, number of positive reviews or business outcome. Testers are paid the same whatever rating they give. You must not contact testers, offer them anything or try to influence their reviews, and you cannot edit or delete reviews (see section 7).

Trustpilot invitation service

Our separate Trustpilot growth service helps you set up Trustpilot's official review invitation tools for your own real customers. Under this service:

  • invitations are sent only through Trustpilot's official invitation methods and only to genuine customers who had a real experience with your business;
  • no incentives, rewards, discounts or payments are offered for reviews, and invitations are never sent only to customers expected to be happy;
  • VouchHive testers never write reviews on Trustpilot or any other third-party platform;
  • you remain responsible for your Trustpilot account, for complying with Trustpilot's guidelines and for having a lawful basis to contact your customers.

Your content and logins

You confirm that you have the right to let us and our testers use the product, brand assets and test logins you provide for the purpose of the test, and that your product and materials are lawful. You grant us a licence to show your company name, logo and description on your VouchHive page and on drops.

14Intellectual property and licence to publish reviews

The Service, our brand, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.

You keep ownership of the reviews, answers and screenshots you submit. You grant VouchHive a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, translate, excerpt and distribute your review text and rating on VouchHive and in the VouchHive badge and widgets, and to share your review and answers with the company that requested the test. Screenshots are used only by the Hive Team to verify the test and are never published. Published reviews stay online, anonymised, after you close your account, so that readers and companies keep an accurate record.

You confirm that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights and that you waive, to the extent allowed by law, any moral rights that would prevent this use.

15Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available or error free, that a particular number of tests will be offered or that any product tested through VouchHive is safe or fit for any purpose. Reviews are the opinions of individual testers, not of VouchHive.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, or for losses caused by blockchain networks, wallets or wrong wallet details you provide. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service in any 12 month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts we paid to you or you paid to us in that period and (b) 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

You agree to compensate us for losses caused by your serious breach of these Terms, for example fraud, misuse of test logins or coordination of ratings.

16Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change the Service and these Terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or to stop fraud. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

17Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes will be handled by the [COURTS OF JURISDICTION], unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.
